This was a request from a film studio who had been commissioned
to make an advert for American TV for a cereal product called Applejacks. They
provided us with a regular desert spoon and asked us to reproduce it three feet
long, which we did in thick aluminium sheet.
This bobsleigh was commissioned by a studio to be used in
a UK tv advert you may remember for the Inland Revenue. It features an hand
wheeled alloy sheet skin wrapped over a steel tube frame work. Quite effective
once they had painted it green.
If you follow kids programs you may recognise as the Iggle
Piggle carriage. This was quite an involved project as it was nearly 13 feet
tall and 6 feet diametre at the top It had to be wheeled from 2mm thick
aluminium sheet.
Next we have the limo from the recent Strongbow tv advert.
Instead of shooting massive arrows into the full size car bonnet, we were asked
to make some 1/8th scale bonnet skins so they could shoot standard size arrows.
The result was then superimposed over the actual car.
