This  handmade water swirl pot/header tank has a side entry pipe and a vertical exit pipe.

Now with a billet alloy pressure cap neck that will accept a standard Ford type pressure cap. (Ford type cap included)

The body is hand rolled from light weight 1.5mm aluminium sheet and measures approx 6" tall x 3" diameter. There are two horizontal swages for added strength and the classic appearence. The inlet and outlet pipes are 1 1/4" OD, and the overflow pipe is 5/16" OD. All pipes have swaged ends for hose security. Can be supplied with 1",1 3/8" or 1 1/2" pipes

The swirl function is essential for any high performance engines cooling system. If any localised boiling occurs  it can cause unwanted air to become trapped in the system. When a swirl pot is added it removes this air before it can become a problem.

This swirl/header tank is fully TIG welded.

The top inlet  pipe is 5/16" OD, a 5/8"lower outlet pipe and the overflow pipe is 5/16" OD. All pipes have swaged ends for hose security. Can be supplied with alternative size outlets. This header tank has a side mount.

This header tank uses the same body size as our 1ltr catch tank so can be supplied as a matching pair.

This header tank is fully TIG welded.
